Larry & Marjorie Hileman

 

Larry and Marjorie Hileman, Rockford, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on August 17, 2008.

 Larry Hileman and the former Marjorie Thatcher were married Aug. 17th, 1958, at the Willshire United Methodist Church by Reverend Argo Suddith.


The couple has three daughters: Kelie Hileman, New York; Shelie and Todd Gaerke, Rockford; and Katie and Mike Huffman, Rockford. They also have four grandchildren: Allison and Matthew Gaerke, and DeeAnna and Zoie Huffman.


The couple recently celebrated with a family vacation to the Outer Banks, North Carolina.


Marjorie Hileman is a homemaker and Larry Hileman is a retired contractor.

Oberlitners Celebrate 50th Wedding Anniversary
Gene and Jane (Harner) Oberlitner of Celina celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on February 8th. They were married on that date in 1958 at Mt. Tabor Church of God. They have three children: Todd and Nancy Oberlitner of Mendon; Chris and Diane Oberlitner of Detroit, Michigan and Lori Oberlitner of Oxford. They have one grandchild, two step-grandchildren and one great-grandchild. A celebration was held in Cincinnati.
 
 
 
Pontslers Celebrate 50th Wedding Anniversary

The family of Don and Ethel Pontsler recently honored them for 50 years of marriage by hosting a surprise anniversary party on  December 22, 2007. It was a wonderful day for friends and family to join in celebration of a life filled with laughter and love.
 
They have four children; Dave and Charity  Pontsler, Golden, CO, Karen and Clarence Thomas, Jacksonville, FL, Jeff and  Tammy Pontsler, Rockford, Jody and Rich Lamparelli, Quaker Hill, Conn. They also  have eleven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
 
Don is retired from Aeroquip in Van Wert and  Ethel is a portrait artist. (also known as the 'angel  lady').
 
 
 
Millers to Celebrate their 70th Wedding Anniversary
Lester and Marge Miller, of Chattanooga, Ohio will celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary with a dinner at Bear Creek Farms with their  family. Lester Miller and the former Marguerite Wendel were married November 25, 1937, at her parents' home, Lewis and Jessie Wendel in Chattanooga, Ohio. The  couple are the parents of two sons, Larry (Lois) Miller of  Celina and  Rollie (Fran) Miller of Rockford. They have five grandchildren, Julia (John)  Churan, Powell, OH, Jill (John) Schaeffer, Wooster, OH, John (Angie) Miller,  Upper Arlington, OH, Kellie (Aaron) Hicks, Waterloo, IN, and Brad (Melissa)  Miller, Whitehouse, OH, and eight great grandchildren, Justin and Jason Churan,  Matthew and Maria Schaeffer, Ryan and Elena Miller, Stacie Miller, and Hannah  Miller.  

Lester is retired from the U.S. Postal Service and Marge a housewife and mother. They still reside at their home of nearly 60 years at 9833 State Route 49, Rockford.
