“The Laurel Way Award” was presented to both The Laurels of Shane Hill and Maplewood of Shane’s Village for the second consecutive year. This award is based on several areas of performance, including achieving excellent scores on Ohio Department of Aging and independent satisfaction surveys as well as annual Ohio Department of Health inspections. To earn the award, fostering a positive home environment as well as other areas of customer service and maintaining fiscal responsibility are essential. The management of Laurel Health Care Company and The Laurels of Shane Hill and Maplewood of Shane’s Village wish to express their sincere gratitude to the staff of these two homes for their caring, effort and dedication in making this award a reality. We also wish to express our appreciation to the local community for their support in making 2008 a successful year. Pictured L-R are Leah Krogman, Steve Schaaf, Jack
