Cases heard by Retired Judge Charles Steele on Thursday, January 29, 2015:
Heather Ratliff, 37, Convoy, was sentenced on a charge of Attempted Forgery, a misdemeanor of the first degree. She was sentenced to 1 year community control, 30 days jail at later date, 100 hours community service, ordered to pay court costs and partial appointed counsel fees. Restitution was paid before court. 180 days jail and $1,000 fine were deferred pending completion of community control.
April Diltz, 36, Van Wert, admitted to violating her probation by testing positive for drugs. She was re-sentenced to 3 years community control under the same conditions plus up to 6 months at the WORTH Center. She was ordered held in jail until transfer to the WORTH Center
Andrew Graham, 19, Delphos, admitted violating his probation by being terminated from the WORTH Center program. He was ordered to serve his previous sentence of 12 months prison with credit for 63 days served.
Michael Keipper, 25, Van Wert, appeared for a competency hearing. He was found competent to stand trial after an evaluation by Court Diagnostic in Toledo. Pretrial to be set.
Tiffany Dearing, 30, Van Wert, entered a plea of guilty to a Bill of Information charging her with Possession of Drugs, misdemeanor 1. The Court ordered a Pre-sentence investigation and set sentencing for Feb 4, 2015 @ 9 am
James Reynolds, 35, Delphos, appeared for a motion to withdraw his plea of guilty. After hearing, the Court took the matter under advisement. Bond was set at $500,000 cash.
