Re:    Delphos I&K CEO ordered held without bond

Robert Fishbein, 48, Lima, Ohio, CEO of I & K Foods in Delphos was ordered held without bond for violating his appearance bond conditions when he left court after an arraignment hearing.

Court staff observed Fishbein making phone calls in the lobby of the courtroom just minutes after being arraigned and being told by Judge Steele that he was not to be making any phone calls other than when a person was personally present making the call for him and monitoring him.

Fishbein today signed a waiver of speedy trial, a trial that needs to be held within a certain period of time when the person is being held in jail. 

Judge Steele ruled that the original $200,000 cash bond which was posted for his release from jail be returned to the person posting the bond since Fishbein will be in jail until the time of trial.  

A pretrial hearing has been scheduled for December 14^th, 2011.
