Ryan L. Woodall, 37, Willshire, Ohio was sentenced a thirty six month
prison
sentence on a charge of Robbery and a three years sentence on a felony
charge of
Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence of Alcohol, both charges
are
felonies of the third degree.
Woodall was charged with Robbery for the October 21st, 2011 incident
that took
place at the Willshire Drive Inn in Willshire, Ohio. According to a Van
Wert
County Sheriff’s Department investigation Woodall apparently came to the
store,
ordered a sandwich but didn’t pay for the sandwich. Woodall allegedly
ordered
that the employee give him, Woodall allegedly stuck his hand in his
hooded
sweatshirt indicating that he had a gun and again demanded the money.
Woodall
never did get any money and walked off with the sandwich and fries.
Woodall had been arrested by the Van Wert Sheriff’s Department on a
charge
Operating a Motor Vehicle While Under the Influence of Alcohol on August
7th,
2011 after they had attempted to stop him after he left the Brookside
Convenience
Store. Woodall was found to be under the influence of alcohol and had
told deputies
he had used bath salts.
Woodall had been convicted of other DUI charges in the past causing the
most
recent charge to be a felony of the third degree.
Judge Steele ordered the sentences to be served concurrently to one
another and
also ordered that Woodall’s drivers license be suspended for life.
