Re:  Criminal Arraignments

 

 

Two individuals were arraigned in Van Wert County Common Pleas Court before Magistrate Joseph E. Quatman on Wednesday morning.

 

Roland Moate, 27, Piqua, Ohio entered a not guilty plea to a charge of Breaking and Entering.

 

According to a Van Wert County Sheriff’s Department investigation Moate allegedly broke into the County Line Auto Wrecking located on Pohlman Road near Delphos, Ohio on November 23, 2008.   Cash along with a mini toy helicopter was taken during the breaking and entering. 

 

No bond was set in the case since Moat is presently being held in prison on similar charges.  A pretrial hearing has been scheduled for April 23, 2008 at 8:00 a.m..

 

 

Mack Carrizales, Jr., 36, Leipsic, Ohio entered a not guilty plea to a charge of Possession of Cocaine a fifth degree felony.

 

Carrizales was arrested during a traffic stop that took place on March 14th, 2008 in the 600 block of North Washington Street in Van Wert.

 

Carrrizales was released on a $5,000 unsecured personal surety bond with a pretrial hearing scheduled for April 23, 2008 at 8:00 a.m..
