Her school activities included Band, Basketball, Softball, FFA, FCA, Luther League, Science Club, Pit Orchestra, National Honor Society, Book Club, Scholastic Bowl, and Cross Country.

In school his activities included Marching Band, Concert Band, Track, Science Club, Scholastic Bowl, National Honor Society, Foreign Language Club, and Cross Country.
