Tracy Hamrick Attains
Bachelor Degree
of Science in Nursing
Tracy
Hellwarth Hamrick of Celina graduated ~ with honors ~ from Ohio Northern
University in September 2011,
with a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing. Tracy is the wife of Trent
Hamrick, and the mother of Logan, Peyton and Ashton. Tracy is employed
in the obstetrics department at Mercer Community Hospital in Coldwater.
She was honored with a family and friend party. Congratulations Tracy! |

Christopher Lutz Graduates from College
Christopher M. Lutz of Convoy, graduated with honors from Brown Mackie
College in Fort Wayne, IN on May 20, 2011. Chris had a GPA of
3.95, and received his Associate's of Science degree in Business
Management. He was awarded the President's award for "the very
best Brown Mackie has to offer", stated Brown Mackie President Jim
Bishop. While at Brown Mackie, Chris was involved with several
charitable causes, such as Coats for Kids. He is currently employed by
Walmart in Fort Wayne. Chris is the son of Kevin and Charlene Lutz of
Rockford. He resides in Convoy with his wife Tara and son Blake. |

Ross Leighner Graduates with Degree
in Education
Ross
Heath Leighner graduated cum laude from Ohio State University on June 12th,
with a Bachelor of Science degree in education. Ross is the son of Rod
and Diana Leighner of Dayton, the grandson of Gloria Fisher (and the
late Don Fisher) and Nancy Leighner (and the late Roy Leighner), and the
great-grandson of Dorothy Mihm, all of Rockford. |

STEINBRUNNER
NAMED VALEDICTORIAN
Tiffany
Steinbrunner, a 2006 graduate of Parkway High School, completed her
course work at the University Of Saint Francis in December of 2010 with
a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. At the graduation ceremony held in
May Tiffany was named valedictorian for the Keith Busse School of
Business and Entrepreneurial Leadership with a 3.94 GPA. As the top
business student for the graduating class, Tiffany represented the
University of Saint Francis at the FEI Banquet and was named the Indiana
CPA Society Accounting Honor Student of the Year.
Tiffany was also recognized, during an
honors banquet held prior to graduation as a student athlete receiving
the following awards: Dak Tronics Scholar Athlete, MCC All-Academic
Athlete, NAIA Scholar Athlete, and the Women’s National Fast Pitch
Scholar Athlete.
In December, Tiffany moved to
Indianapolis and is currently working for the accounting firm Ernst &
Young and studying for the CPA exam to become a Certified Public
Accountant.

Susan Stephenson
Seiti Graduates with Doctor of Pharmacy Degree
Parkway Graduate Graduates from The
University of Findlay
with Honors
Susan
Seiti graduated at The University of Findlay on May 7, 2011. She
received her Doctor of Pharmacy Degree and graduated Summe Cum Laude
with a gpa of 3.9 or greater. Susan is currently residing in Columbus
but will be relocating to Cleveland. She is the daughter of Michael
Stephenson & Rebecca Stephenson and the granddaughter of Marty Schaadt,
and Charles & Anna Lee Stephenson.

Top 10 Outstanding Senior Graduates From The Ohio State
University
Katie
King recently graduated Summa Cum Laude with Honors Research Distinction
in Agribusiness and Applied Economics from The Ohio State University in
Columbus. Katie was recognized as one of the Top 10 Outstanding
Seniors within the College of Food, Agriculture, and Environmental
Sciences.
Katie has accepted a position as a Grain Merchandiser with Consolidated
Grain and Barge in Mt. Vernon, Indiana.
She is the daughter of Mike and Ann King of Rockford OH and a 2006
Parkway graduate.

Tiffany Steinbrunner Named to MCC All-tournament Team
After missing the
last three weeks of regular season with an ankle injury, Tiffany
Steinbrunner returned to action playing in the MCC tournament with
her softball teammates from the University of St Francis. On the day
Tiffany had multiple hits in each of the 3 games including 3 doubles
and a solo homerun. She also played outstanding defense in center-field
to earn her a spot on the MCC all-tournament team.
Tiffany
was awarded three additional awards during the banquet honoring the
softball team. She earned the 300 club award, this award is given to
graduating players who have a career batting average of .300 or better.
In addition Tiffany received the MCC All-Academic Award and the
NAIA Scholar Athlete Award for maintaining a cumulative GPA of 3.5 and
above. Tiffany had the highest GPA on the team at 3.96.

Marbaugh
Finishes Career at Bluffton
2006
Parkway alumni Jayme Marbaugh finished her softball career at Bluffton
University this spring. Jayme led the team with 5 home runs and 22 RBI.
For her career, Jayme was an All Heartland Collegiate Athletic
Conference first team selection as a sophomore and junior and a second
team selection as a senior. She was also selected to the HCAC All
Tournament team as a junior and senior. She finished her career at
Bluffton fourth all-time with a .330 batting average and third with a
.479 slugging percentage. She is second with 150 games played and first
in games started after starting all 150 games, 451 at bats (2nd
all-time), 26 stolen bases (6th all-time), 98 runs (2nd
all-time), 149 hits (2nd all-time), 10 home runs (tied for 3rd
all-time), 94 RBI (3rd all-time), 216 total bases (3rd
all-time) and 33 doubles (3rd all-time). In the field,
Marbaugh had 648 chances (2nd all-time) and 334 assists (2nd
all-time). Her 271 career putouts placed her 12th all-time
for the Beavers.
