Donald M. Rickard, 78, 210 N. Wayne St. in Mendon died on Friday, April 11, 2008 at The Golden Living Center - Valley, St. Marys.

He was born May 25, 1929 in Van Wert to Monda and Emma (Coil) Rickard.

On May 27, 1950, he married Ruth Ann Emans who died May 4, 1997

Survivors are three sons, Tim (Mary) and Bruce, all of Mendon and David of Lima; two daughters, Donna J. Jones of Celina and Lori Slone of St. Marys; one sisters, Rebecca Louise (Leonard) Koehn, Sanford, Texas; seven grand-children and five  great-grandchildren.

Deceased is one brother, James Junior Rickard.

He was retired from the molding department at New Idea- Textron, Coldwater.

Services are at a later date with burial to be at Mendon Cemetery. No calling hours.

Memorials may be sent to Lima Memorial Hospital St. Marys dialysis unit or the Village of Mendon Parks Committee.
