DWENGER

Joseph H. Dwenger, 91,  801 S. Elm St., Celina died at 10:35 p.m. on Tuesday April 15 at Celina Manor Nursing Home.


He was born June 8, 1916 in St. Rose, Ohio to Henry & Anna ( Fullenkamp) Dwenger.  

 

On January 30, 1943, he married Delores M. Schwieterman, who died on November 17, 2004.

 

Other survivors are four sons, Jame (Marilyn) Dwenger of Celina, Joseph (Nancy) of Rockford, Richard Dwenger of Celina and Thomas (Julie) Dwenger of Lebanon, Tennessee; four daughters, Betty (Larry) Bertke of Coldwater, Marlene (David) Boise of Wapakoneta, Marcella (Henry) Mowery of Paulding and Bernice (Dr. Michael) Fleck of Napoleon, Ohio; 17 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.

 

Deceased are one  brother  and  five  Sisters:  Elizabeth Osterloh,  Mary Sturwold, Rose Meyer,  Anthony Dwenger,  Bernadette Link  and  Rita Link

 

He was retired from Mersman Tables, Celina and had farmed and done carpentry work. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Celina.

 

Services are at 10:30 A.M.  Monday, April 21 at  W.H. Dick & Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home, Celina, Father Thomas Brenberger officiating with burial to be at St. Marys Catholic Cemetery in Celina.

 

Viewing is from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. Sunday, April 20 and 9-10:15 on Monday April 21 at the funeral home
