Sarah Jean Stephenson, 84, 944 Tama Rd., Rockford, died at 8:47 p.m. Sunday, April 6, 2008 at Van Wert County Hospital
 

She was born February 2, 1924 in Mercer County to the late Albert and Ethel (Monroe) Harrison.  On April 20, 1947, she married Richard Stephenson, who survives.

She was a member of Chattanooga United Methodist Church, a 1942 Celina High School graduate and was a homemaker.

Surviving along with her husband are three sons, Tom (Judy) and David (Charlene) all of Rockford and Mark (Twyla) of Lake Forest, California, eight grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren.

Deceased are a brother, Donald Harrison and a sister, Lillian Shively.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 10, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. at the church with Reverend Steve Oliver officiating.  Burial will follow at Buck Cemetery, Celina.

Calling will be Wednesday, April 9, 2008 from 2-8 p.m. at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina and 1 hour prior to the service at the church.  Memorials may be directed to the church.
