Paul E. Sanders, 79, formerly of Celina and Minster, died at 6:46 PM, on Thursday, April 24, 2008, at Otterbein St. Marys Retirement Community.

He was born in Carthegena on September 28, 1928 to the late Gerald and Viola Topp Sanders. 

On February 14, 1956, he married Bessie M. Davis, who died March 20, 2006.

Surviving are four sons: David Millisor, Greenville, Floyd (Tina) Millisor of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Daniel (Linda) Millisor, Union City, Tennessee, and Jeffrey (Lori) Sanders, Elkhart, Indiana; a daughter, Judy (Roger) Freeland, Mendon; three brothers; Norbert (Michele) Virginia Beach, VA., Frederick (Helen) of Bryan, and Ralph, Ohio City, OH; two sisters, Mary (George) Miller of Mendon and Dorothy Meeker of St. Marys; a brother-in-law, Ralph Hussey, St. Marys; a sister-in-law, Edna Neff of Port Clinton, OH; 10 grandchildren and a number of great and great-great grandchildren.

Deceased are a son, Darrell Sander; a brother, Carl, two sisters; Delores Hussey and Ruth Long;  two brothers-in-law, Donald Long and Willie Meeker; a sister-in-law Betty Sanders and one grandchild.

He was a retiree of St. Marys Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co., St. Marys, following 42 years of service. He was formerly a sergeant in the U.S. Army, serving from 1949 to 1951. He was  a graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 30, 2008 at 10:00 am at Hillsdale United Brethren in Christ Church in St. Marys, with Reverend Elmer Long officiating.  Burial will be at Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Marys. 
 

Friends may call on from 6-8 pm Tuesday, April 29, 2008 at  W.H Dick & Sons -  Funeral Home in Celina and at the church after 9:00 AM (one hour prior to the service).
