Lois George, 65, 6901 Dutton Road, Mendon, died on Saturday, April 26, 2008, at her residence of natural causes.

She was born on January 20, 1943 in Carbon Glow, Kentucky to Benjamin and Frances Elizabeth "Sally" Patton Miller. 

On January 31, 1970, she married William G. George, who survives.

Surviving are three sons: William G., Jr., and Eric (Nikki) all of Rockford, and C. Thomas (Teena) of Tampa, Florida, a daughter, Heidi (Marshall) Brehm, Rockford; seven brothers;  Bill (Darlene) Miller, Lima; Charles (Sharon) Miller and Maurice (April) of Middlepoint, Mark Miller, San Francisco, CA; Jack (Robin) Miller, Convoy, Kenneth (Cheryl) Miller of Van Wert, Ohio; and Paul (Dora) Miller Auburn, Indiana; and three sisters Narcie Maus, Elida, Angie (Gary) Becker, Celina, amnd Sandy (Raymond) Pangle of Elide, and four grandchildren.

Deceased are two sisters: Mabel George and Ellen Miller (infant); and one half-brother Harry Burns.

She was a homemaker and helped on the family farm. She was a member of the Mendon First Church of God.

She was  a 1961 graduate of Spencerville High School.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 1, 2008 at 11:00 am at W. H. Dick and Son-Hellwarth Funeral Home in Celina, with Reverend Glenn Masser officiating.  Burial will be at Mendon Cemetery. 
 

Friends may call  from 2-4 and 6-8 pm Wednesday, April 30, 2008 at  W.H Dick & Sons - Hellwarth Funeral Home in Celina.

Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society or the Cancer Association on Mercer County.
