Damon Springer, 16, 9676 State Route 127, Celina, Ohio, died  Monday, August 15, 2011.

He was born October 24, 1994 in Knox Co., Ohio, to James Springer and Amy (Duane) Willey.

Surviving are a brother, Andrew Springer, Celina, Oh; a sister Beth Shafer, Celina, Oh; Grandparents, Don (Dorothy) Springer, Celina, Oh; James Frye, Mt. Vernon, Oh; Mike (Bonnie) Swingler, Howard, Oh; Great Grandparents, William (Evelina) Frye, Howard, Oh.

He was preceded in death by Uncles, Glen Willey, Scott Springer; Cousins, Monica Springer, Destiny Springer.

Damon was a Student at Celina High School, a Junior, and worked for his father at Springer Tree Service. He was a Wrestler for Celina, and was part of the Choir. He like to skated board and was a member of Hopewell Grange Jr., He attended Journey Church in Danville, Oh.

A gathering of family and friends will be Thursday, August 18, 2011 from 2-8 at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina, Oh. Funeral services will be 10:30 am, Friday, August 19, 2011 at Mt. Tabor Church of God with Rev. James Keiser and Jason Springer officiating. Burial will be at Mercer Memory Gardens, Celina, Oh.
