BRUMMETTE
Linda Brummette, 76, 10160 Krugh Road, Mendon, Ohio, died at 10:30 PM on Tuesday February 12, 2008 at her home.
Se was born on December 21, 1931 in Tennessee to Willaim and Myrtle (Johnson) Evans. She married Alonzo Brumette on May 31, 1947 and he survives.

Others surviving are two sons, Kenneth (Camilla), Ohio City, Paul (Jodi) Van Wert, Vicki Roberts, Rockford; four daughters: Judy (Dave) Highley, St. Marys, Mary (Alan) Miller of Columbus Grove, and Pauline Price of Celina; one sister, Fannie (Milt) Brummitt of Sweetwater, TN; 19 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Deceased are four brothers, Howard, Ulis, Esco and Albert Evans; a sister, Ada Evans Price, a son-in-law James B. Price, and two grandsons.

She was a homemaker and had worked at Sharp Canning in Rockford and Maristan Manufacturing in Mendon. She belonged to the Mendon United Methodist Church.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Monday, February 18, 2008 at W.H. Dick & Sons - Hellwarth Funeral Home in Celina, Ohio, the Rev. Charles Eagle officiating.

 

Burial will be in Mercer Memory Garden, Celina, Ohio.

Visitation is Sun
day from 2 - 7 PM (February 17, 2008)
, at the funeral home and after 9:30 AM on Monday at the funeral home.

PUTMAN   
Margaret G. "Jerry" Putman, 90, of Ohio City, Ohio , "Went to be with her Lord and Savior" at 1:05 p.m. Tuesday February 12, 2008 at Van Wert Manor Nursing Home in Van Wert.

She was born
June 9, 1917, in Willshire, Ohio, the daughter of the late Oatus and Lillie (Brunstetter) Strickler.

 

She first married Ottis Agler, in 1940 and he died in 1959. She then married Firman Howard "Fuzz" Putman, in 1961 and he died Sept 21, 1984.

 

Surviving are a son Robert D. (Connie) Agler Ohio City; a sister, Bertha Andrews Marion, OH; two grandchildren Kelly (Jason) Meador Van Wert Brad (Kelly) Agler Paulding, Ohio; and four great-grandchildren, Kyle, Abbie, Casey, and Jade.

 

Five brothers and three sisters preceded her in death.

 

Mrs. Putman was a homemaker and at one time worked at Good's Lamp Factory between Ohio City and Van Wert
Church affiliation: She was a past member of the Willshire U.B. Church.

 

 

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Friday, February 15, 2008 at Cowan & Son Funeral Home in  Van Wert, Ohio, the Rev. Paul W. Miller officiating.

 

Burial will be in Willshire Cemetery, Willshire, Ohio.

Visitation is
Thursday from 4 - 8 PM (February 14, 2008)
, at the funeral home.
