FICKERT Virginia
Fickert of Celina died at 1:30 PM on Sunday, February 17,
2008, at Mercer Health Hospital in Coldwater.
She was born on February 24, 1936 in Celina to Gerald "Hickory" and Hazel (Keel) Woods. On March 3, 1962, she married Jack Fickert who survives. Other survivors include three sons, Jim Woods, Orlando, Florida, Steve Koesters and Tim Fickert, both of Celina; one daughter, Chris (Mike) Godwin of Celina; three brothers, Charley Woods of Iowa, Bill (Jane) Woods, St. Henry, and Rick (Rita) Woods of Celina; a sister, Pam (Henry) Billerman, Celina, two brothers-in-law, Frank (Dino) Dunno and Dick Feierstein both of Celina, a sister-in-law, Vina Woods, Celina; 16 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Deceased are a daughter, Tracy Ellis, two brothers, Ernie and Gerald "Buss" Woods and tow sisters, Jackie Feierstein and Jean Dunno. Mrs. Fickert owned and operated the Plaza Beauty Salon, Celina and had worked at both Huffy Mfg and Mersman Tables in Celina. She was a member of the Celina Presbyterian Church and served as an elder. She attended Celina High School and was a 1973 graduate of Lima's Ohio State Beauty Academy. Services are at 10:30 AM on Thursday at W.H. Dick & Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home in Celina with burial in Mercer Memory Gardens. Reverend Dave Dennis will officiate.
Calling is from 2-4 and 6-8 PM on Wednesday, February 20, 2008 at the funeral home and 9:30-10:30 AM prior to the service at the church.

DONOVAN David Donovan,
Sr., 58,
of Celina, died on Sunday, February 17, 2008, at 4:23 AM at Celina Manor Nursing
Home. He was born January 6, 1950 in Celina to Paul, Sr. and Alberta Rabdeau Stallings Donovan who survives in Celina.
Other survivors are three sons, Scott Hayes of Decatur, Indiana, David, Jr, of Celina, and Damien of Lima; two brothers, Paul Jr (Millie) of Celina, and Jeff (Karen) of Gladstone, Michigan; two sisters, Peggy (Mike) Monnin of Celina and Pam (Max) Incichen of Berne, Indiana; and one grandchild.
Two brothers, Jesse and Timothy are deceased.
Dave was retired from Omni Manufacturing in St. Marys. He was a member of these Celina organizations: Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion, Fraternal Order of Eagles, and the Moose Lodge. A 1968 graduate of Parkway High School, he was a US Army Veteran.
Services are at 11 AM on Thursday at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina with burial in Swamp College Cemetery. Reverend Steve Howell will officiate. Calling is from 10-11 AM prior to the service at the funeral home.
