MILLER

Alberta “Bertie” Mary Miller, 85, of Rockford, Ohio, died Wednesday morning January 16, 2008 at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana.  She was born May 13, 1922, to the late Henry F. and Ida (Yewey) Wurster.  On July 29, 1941, she married David L. Miller, and he preceded her in death on November 16, 1985.  She was a homemaker and a member of the Olive Branch Church of God, Rockford and the WCSC.

Surviving is one son and his wife, Marlin E. “Gene” & Linda L. Miller of Van Wert; 2 grandchildren, Tamara (Dale) Parsons, Tullahoma, TN and Timothy (Michele) Miller, Fort Wayne, IN and 4 great grandchildren; Elise and Josiah Parsons and Abby and Joel Miller.  Deceased are two brothers, Gail and Emery Wurster, and two sisters, Gladys Miller and Evelyn Poppe.

Services will be held at 10:30 am, Saturday, January 19, 2008 at Ketcham-Ripley Funeral Home in Rockford with Pastor Steve Waterman officiating.  Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Rockford.  Friends may call on Friday from 2-8 pm at the funeral home and on Saturday, 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  Memorials may be directed to Olive Branch Church of God or Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.  Condolences can be sent to ketchamripleyfh@embarqmail.com.
