GAERKE

   
Diane M. Gaerke, 61, of Troy, (and a former resident of Rockford, Celina, and Ft. Recovery) died Wednesday, January 2, 2008, at her home. Death was due to natural causes.

She was born November 5, 1946, in Celina, the daughter of the late Julius and the late Erma (Harlett) Sutter. Her former husband Thomas Gaerke survives in Union City.

She is also survived by two sons, Todd (Shelie) Gaerke of Rockford and Troy (LeAnn) Gaerke of Plain City; twin daughters, Tracy (Paul) Seeley, Alma Michigan and Teri (Paul) Howe of Bellbrook; two brothers, John Sr. (Sharon) Sutter and Fred Sutter all of Ft. Recovery; two sisters, Dorothy (Bill) Lininger of St. Marys and MaryAnn (Al) Saam of Cridersville; and nine grandchildren.
 
A brother, George Sutter preceded her in death.

Dianne worked at Harborside Health Care in Troy, OH, and had previously worked 26 years at the former Huffy Bicycle Plant in Celina. She was a 1964 graduate of Ft. Recovery High School and a graduate of Dayton College of Cosmetology.

A Funeral Mass will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, January 9, at Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, Ft. Recovery, with the Rev. Thomas Dorn officiating. Burial will be in St. Marys Cemetery in Ft. Recovery.
 
Visitation will be 3-8 PM on Tuesday, January 8 and 9-10 AM on Wednesday, January 9 at Brockman-Boeckman  Funeral Home in Ft. Recovery.
