Van Wert County
Hospital Van Wert, Ohio.
She was born May 31, 1919 in Adams County, IN to James Franklin and Alverda May (Dilling) Parrish.
She married Kenneth Paul Dellinger on October 22, 1938, in
Adams County, Indiana, and he died February 28, 1979.
There are six surviving grandchildren: Darin (Jeannie)
Dellinger and daughter Brooke of Tipp City, Ohio; Shon (Aimie)
Dellinger and daughters, Ainsley & Audrey of San Francisco;
Shane (Rona) Dellinger and sons Carson & Reece of Coldwater,
Ohio; Brandi (Jeff) Zoller and children, Jacob, Grant, &
Joanna of Galloway; Tyson (Jonathan) Clason and children,
JaCee & Jonny of Bakersfield, CA; Torey (DeeDee) Dellinger
and children, Daisey, Lauren, & Shon of Bakersfield; one
daughter-in-law, Pamela Dellinger, of Van Wert, Ohio and
many nieces, nephews and extended family.
Deceased are three sons: Larry D., Terry S. and Barry Dellinger; two brothers: Lester Parrish, Henry Parrish and Robert Parrish; two sisters: Mary York and Lucille Blair; two step brothers, Lawrence & Omar Dellinger and one step mother Margaret Dellinger Parrish.
Mrs. Dellinger worked at G.E. during WWII and retired from
Decatur Industries after 32 years at 70. She was a member of
Willshire United Methodist Church, Willshire American Legion
Auxiliary, former member of the Women of the Moose Lodge
#207, Decatur, and member of the Phythian Sisters Lodge
#494, Willshire, Ohio. She was also a Den Mother of Cub
Scout Pack #146; Willshire and a 1938 graduate of Willshire
High School.
Services are planned for 7:00 p.m., Thursday, January 12, 2012 at the Cowan & Son Funeral Home Van Wert, Ohio, with Pastor Richard Larimore and Reverend John Goodwin officiating. Burial will be in Willshire Cemetery, Willshire, OH.
Friends and family may call from 3-7 p.m, on Thursday,
January 12 at the funeral home.
