He married Ellen Joan Paige, and she survives in Rockford.

Other survivors are one son: Kenneth of Celina;  two daughters Melissa J. (Ronald) Pickrell  and Jo-Ellen (Billy) Litmer all of Celina; four brothers, Edward of Alliance, Charles and Tom, towns not listed,  and Ronald Kline of Van Wert.; four sisters Deloris (Larry) Cotterman of Van Wert, Hazel (Lloyd) Roberts of Ohio City, Margaret Strawn of Celina, and Shirley (Rob) Tremmell of Payne; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Preceding her were two brothers and a sister.

He was a retiree of Tu-Way Products of  Rockford and belonged to the the Celina Eagles Lodge.

U.S. Army Veteran oServices are at noon on Friday, June 13, 2008  at  Brickner Funeral Home, Van Wert.  Burial is at Woodlawn Cemetery, Ohio City.
