Also surviving are two sons: Michael (Angela) Muhlenkamp, Pacifica, California, and Scott (Lisa) Muhlenkamp, Celina, Ohio; three daughters: Jennifer (Rich) Miller, Rockford, Ginger (Doug) Lehman, and Gloria (Craig) Valentine both of Celina; three brothers: Bernard (Kathleen) Muhlenkamp, and Lavern (Pat) Muhlenkamp, both of Coldwater, and Gerald (Eileen) Muhlenkamp, Celina; one brother-in law: Alvin Saintgnon, Celina; two sisters: Pauline Hess, Coldwater, and Dorothy (Louie) Hoyng, Celina; six grandchildren: Shannon (Erik) Miesse, Englewood, Ohio, Kirk (Amy) Lehman and Gabe (Amy) Lehman and Sarah Valentine, all of Celina, Gina and Drew Valentine of Columbus, Ohio; six great-grandchildren.
Deceased is one sister: Mary Ann Saintgnon; one granddaughter: Kati Lehman.
He worked all his life in road construction. He attended I.C. school in Celina, and is a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force, where he served during Korean Conflict. He was a member of St. Teresa Catholic Church, Rockford, Rockford F.O.E. #1292, Celina Moose Lodge #1473, Celina American Legion #210, and Celina VFW #5713.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, June 9, 2011, at 11 a.m. at Ketcham-Ripley Funeral Home, Rockford, Father Alt officiating. Burial will be held in Riverside Cemetery, Rockford. Calling is Wednesday June 8 at the funeral home from 2-8 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Thursday. Eagles Service will be held Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. The family prefers memorials be directed to Celina Area Visiting Nurses-Mercer County.

HAYES
Surviving in addition to his wife, Betty, are three children: Craig (Heidi) Hayes, Phoenix, Arizona; Deb (Steve) Knapke, Rockford, and Curtis “Pete” (Twyla) Hayes, also of Rockford. Also surviving are a sister, Margaret (Jerry) Baucher, a sister-in-law, Gretchen Hayes, all of Celina. Eleven grandchildren survive: Kelly, Scott, Jason, Jeremy, Jared, Nicholas (Elizabeth), and Ethan Hayes, and Dusty (Melissa), Darin, Danny, and Dee Dee Knapke.
Bud was a graduate of Rockford High School, class of 1940. He was an active member of the Olive Branch Church of God, Ohio City, for over 50 years, where he had taught Sunday School. He was a lifelong farmer and was named Conservation Farmer of the year in 1984. He enlisted in the army and was a veteran of WWII, having served in the European theater in the occupation of France. He was a member of the Rockford American Legion Post #508 for over 60 years, and was a charter member of the Rockford Lions Club.
Services will be held at 10:30 am on Friday, June 10, 2011, at Olive Branch Church of God, Ohio City, Ohio, with Pastor Steve Waterman officiating. Burial will be in Mount Olive Cemetery, Rockford. Friends may call at Ketcham-Ripley Funeral Home on Thursday from 4-8 pm and one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday. Memorial contributions may be made to the Olive Branch Church of God.
