Maxine Hamrick, 86, of Willshire, died, March 21, 2008 at her residence.

She was born on February 16, 1922 in Huntington County Indiana  to Guy H. Sr. and Dessie (Waters) Bonner. She was married to the late Forrest L. Hamrick on December 24, 1941.

Survivors include one son, Marvin of Willshire; and four daughters, Shirley (the late Vernon) Fuhrmann of Ossian, Indiana, Barbara (Gary) Weck of Ohio City, Janet (William, Jr.) Hunter of Van Wert and Crystal (Steve) Sheets of Rockford; several brothers and sisters; 18 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, F. Eugene; and one daughter Sarah Marie.

She was a homemaker and a dairy and grain farmer and a member of Union United Methodist Church in Willshire. She taught Sunday school and was a 4-H advisor.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 26, 2008 at 10:30 am at Zwick and Jahn Funeral Home in Decatur, Indiana with Reverends Mark Rutledge and Cindy Lumm officiating.  Burial will be in Willshire Cemetery. 

Friends may call on Tuesday, March 25, 2008 from 1-8 pm at the funeral home. 

Memorials may be directed to Union United Methodist Church, Praise Point Church or Markle United Methodist Church.
