CAYWOOD
 

Lowell Edwin Caywood, 81, of Rockford, died March 7, 2008 at Van Wert County Hospital, Van Wert, OH.

He was born April 22, 1926 in Van Wert County, OH to the late Delmer and Jessie (Huffman) Caywood.  On August 8, 1953 he married Mary Lou Williams and she survives.  He had farmed and had retired from TuWay American Group, Rockford with 20 years.  He was a member of the Olive Branch Church of God, Rockford.  Lowell was a member of the Grand Lake Beagle Club, Jay County Beagle Club and Willshire Sportsman’s Club.
 

Surviving along with his wife are three sons; Jimmy LaDoyt Caywood, Van Wert, OH, Randal Lee Caywood, Rockford, OH and John (Angela) Caywood, Celina, OH; three daughters, Leona (John) Hudson, Blissfield, Michigan, Betty Lou Caywood, Rockford, OH, and Deborah Sue (Richard) Thompson, Portland, Indiana; two sisters, Dorothy Mihm, Rockford, OH and Betty (Frank) Kuhn, Yorkshire, OH; nine grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and three step-great grandchildren.

Deceased are two sisters, Mary Catherine Caywood and Frances Williams.

Services will be held Wednesday, March 12, 2008, at 11:00 a.m. at Ketcham-Ripley Funeral Home, Rockford with Pastor Steve Waterman officiating.  Burial will be at the Riverside Cemetery, Rockford, OH.

Viewing will be Tuesday, March 11, 2008 from 2-8 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at Ketcham-Ripley Funeral Home, Rockford.
