SCHROYER
George Schroyer, Jr., 73, 5711 Fast Rd., Celina, Ohio died at 6:45 p.m. March
9, 2008,
at his home.
He was born November
26, 1934, in Wabash to the late George D. and Virginia (Brinkman)
Schroyer. He married Marie Homan on May 14, 1957, and she
survives.
Surviving along with his wife are three sons: Dave (Toni) , Celina, Mark
(Deb) Coldwater, and Craig (Pam), Mendon; three daughters: Cindy (Tom)
Schatzer, Rockford, Lisa (Roger) Craft of Covington and Tonya (Kent)
Merrick of Paddock Lake, Wisconsin; one sister, Rosalie (Paul) Nininger,
Columbus. He was self-employed (Schroyer Trucking), secretary of the
American Historical Truck Society, of Kansas City, Missouri, past
treasurer of the Mercer County Historical Society, and a member of
Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Celina
The funeral mass will be Thursday, March 13, 2008, at 10:30 a.m. at the
church with Reverend Thomas Brenberger officiating.
Viewing will be Wednesday, March 12, 2008 from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. and
Thursday March 13 from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. at the Cisco Funeral Home in
Celina.
Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery in Rockford.
Preferred memorials may be made to Mercer County Cancer Society or
Celina Area Visiting Nurses.
ALLMANDINGER
Beatrice
C. Allmandinger, 93, of Ohio City, died at 10:30 p.m. Sunday, March 9,
2008, at her residence.
She was born February 24, 1915, in Paulding County, the daughter of the
late Frank J. and Clara (Frecker) Eschbach. On November 3, 1939, she
married Martin W. Allmandinger, who died December 14, 1998.
Mrs. Allmandinger had worked for the Tuway Mop Company in Rockford. She
was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Schumm.
Survivors include two daughters, Mary Helen Ries of Ohio City and Nancy
Elaine (Jim) Klopfenstein of Harlan, Ind.; a godson, Randy (Diann)
Humerickhouse of Van Wert; a goddaughter, Betty Sautbine of Ohio City;
a son-in-law, Lowell Zelt of Fort Wayne, Ind.; four sisters, Mary Jane
Bebout of Van Wert, Katheryn Yoder of Berne, Ind., Virginia Amli of
Dayton and Annabelle Ishmael of Virginia Beach, Va.; a sister-in-law,
Marge Eschbach of Van Wert; seven grandchildren, Timothy (Susan) Ries,
Thomas (Cindy) Ries, Jimmy (Deb) Klopfenstein, Greg Zelt, Christine
(Mark) Plecher and Tyson and Cody Humerickhouse; nine
great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces
and nephews.
A daughter, Josephine Ann Zelt; two brothers, Robert and Lloyd Eschbach;
and a great-grandson, Steve Jacob Ries, also preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, March 14, at
Zion Lutheran Church in Schumm, with the Rev. Robert Becker officiating.
Burial will be in Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Schumm.
Visitation is from 1-8 p.m. Thursday, March 13, at Alspach-Gearhart
Funeral Home in Van Wert and an hour prior to services Friday at the
church.
Memorial contributions may be made to the church or Community Health
Professionals inpatient hospice facility.
