NUDING

John R. Nuding, 91, 8310 state Route 127, Celina, died at 4:10 a.m. May 15, 2008, at Mercer Health Hospital in Coldwater.
 

He was born Nov. 1, 1916, in Mercer County to Grover and Icy (Fast) Nuding. On June 28, 1942, he married Lucille Bryan, who survives.

Other survivors are, a son Robert (Edie) of Celina; and a daughter, Judy (David) Bowers of Celina; a sister, Bernadine Krugh of Liberty Center; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
 

Deceased are two brothers, Charles and Donald, and two sisters, Helen Harner and Josephine Searight.
 

He was a retired farmer and a member of the Mount Tabor Church of God north of Celina. He graduated in 1934 from Rockford High School.
 

Services are 10:30 a.m. Monday, May 19, 2008 at the church, the Reverends Richard Vanhorn and Kenneth Laffin officiating. Burial is at Swamp College Cemetery near Celina.
 

Calling is 2-7 p.m. Sunday, May 18, 2008 at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina, and from 9:30-10:30 AM on Monday at the church, prior to the service.
