BETZEL

Fred R. Betzel, 82 of Columbus died at 4:30 PM on Friday, May 16, 2008 at Zusman House Hospice in Columbus.
 

He was born on February 16, 1926, in Mercer County, near Chattanooga to Frederick and Ruth (Ralph) Williams. On September 18, 1948, he married Margaret Bay Betzel, who died in 1993.

Surviving are a son, Thomas (Meg) of Charlotte, NC; two daughters, Ann (Robert) Bolton of Columbus and Martha ( Stephen) Holmgren of Grand Rapids Michigan; one sister, Jeanne Schwab of Huntington Beach, CA; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Deceased is a son Robert Frederick Betzel.

Services will be at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, May 20, 2008 at Christ Lutheran Church in Bexley, Ohio. Burial will follow in Kessler Cemetery, in Mercer County with a graveside service at 2 pm.

MaLinda L. Williams, 57, formerly of Mendon, died at 4:35 PM on Friday, May 16, 2008 at Lima Memorial Hospital following an extended illness.

She was born February 13, 1951 in Celina to Don and Evelyn Baker Williams. Her mother survives at Shane Hill Nursing Home in Rockford. Her father is deceased.  She is also survived by siblings: Terry (Sharon) of Celina, Rick (Sandy) of New Haven, Ted (Sue) of Wapakoneta, Rob, Ohio City and Tim (Deb) Williams of St. Marys.

She had worked at McDonald Industries in Spencerville and was a former cook at Motor Inn Truck Stop Restaurant in Mercer. She attened Mendon-Union School.

Services will be at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, May 21, 2008 at Miller Funeral Home in St. Marys, with Reverend Bill Drummond officiating. A private family burial service will follow at a later date in the Mendon Cemetery.
