Gary V. Fox, 66, of Rockford, died Saturday, May 17, 2008 at Flower Hospital, Sylvania, OH.

He was born February 7, 1942, in Van Wert, Ohio, to Joe Hollis Fox and Madge (Van Fleet) Fox Hoersten.  On December 16, 1960 he married Delight Kay Felver, and she survives.

He lived in the Rockford area all his life and was retired from Eaton, formerly Aeroquip, in Van Wert.  He was a member of the Rockford United Methodist Church, formerly Grace United Methodist Church. 

Also surviving with his wife, Delight, is his mother, Madge, of Vonore, TN,  three sons; Mike (Nikki) and Gary (Mandy) Fox of Rockford and Jeff Fox of Columbus, OH; one daughter, Holly (Chris) Snyder, Toledo, OH.; one sister, Jill Fox, Vonore, TN, and nine grandchildren, Zach and Amanda Fox, Sarah Fox, Rebecca Fox, Grey Fox, Ryann Fox, Alex and Mary Grace Snyder,  Liam Ferroggiaro. 

Deceased is his father, Joe and one brother, Pat.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, May 21, 2008, at Ketcham-Ripley Funeral Home, Rockford, with Pastor Mark Rutledge officiating.  Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Rockford.

Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday, May 20, 2008 from 2 to 8 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
