LEHMAN
Mary Lou Lehman, age 77, formerly of Rockford, passed away 

Thursday, May 24, 2018 at her home in Medway, Ohio.

 

She was born April 8, 1941 in Rockford, to the late Clarence "Hop" 

& Dorothy Dawson Emerson, who are both deceased.

 

Mary Lou and David Franklin Lehman were married Dec. 28, 1976, 

and he preceded her in death on Jan. 25, 2006. 

 

She leaves behind 3 sons: Jerry L. (Judy) Lehman of Medway, Farron James Sites 

of Van Wert and Terry Lynn Sites of Lima, 6 grandchildren: Shyann & Dakota Lehman 

of Decatur, IN, and Shannon Lehman, Jessica & Dylan Hoover, and Jarrett Burke, 

all of Medway, 3 great-grandchildren: Arabella Longsworth of Decatur, and Carter &  

Kelly Hoover of Medway, and 4 sisters: Gloria (Fred) Vann, Helen (Stanley) Baker, 

Suzanne (Arthur) Christie and Betty (the late Larry) Houser, all of Rockford, 

and many nieces and nephews. 

 

Preceding her in death were 3 brothers: 

James Edward, Norman, & William Kelly Emerson. 

 

A graduate of Rockford High School, Mary Lou had been employed at 

Huffy Bicycles in Celina and Ficosa in Berne. She was a member of the 

Celina VFW Post #5713 Ladies Auxiliary.

 

Mary Lou loved all animals, and enjoyed gardening.  She loved spending 

time with her family, and will be greatly missed.

 

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 30, at W.H. Dick & Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home in Celina.

Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Rockford. 

 

Calling Hours are from 11:00 A.M. until the time of services on Wednesday, at the Funeral Home.

 

Memorial Contributions may be made to the family, which will be directed towards Mary Lou's favorite causes.
