Jerry Lee Now, was born July 13,1937 to Orville & Grace (Copeland) Now. He recently passed away on Saturday May 6, 2017. He is survived by his loving wife Phyllis Ann (Ross) Now, daughter Kim A. (Now) & Phil Winings, daughter Kris K. (Now) Black & Chuck Black, and is preceded in death by his son Kelly G. Now. He has 5 grandchildren, & 8 great grandchildren.

Jerry was retired from Chrysler in Van Wert, and was the Owner/Builder of Deerfield Golf Course for 28 years. He was an avid golfer, and always had envisioned building a golf course. He saw his dream through his hard work constructing Deerfield. He had a creative mind, with an artists hand. He will be greatly missed.

Private services will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. Memorials may be directed to Van Wert In-Patient Hospice at 1155 Westwood Drive, Van Wert, Ohio 45891.

MALLORY

Thomas “Tom” A. Mallory, age 40, of Celina, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at 12:59 pm at his home in Celina.  He was born April 12, 1977 in Michigan City, Indiana.  On December 22, 2000 he married Tara A. Tobin and she survives at the residence in Celina. 

 

He is also survived by his children, Malachi, Michael, and Ian Mallory, all of Celina; his father, Dennis Mallory, Celina; his mother and step-father, Deloras (Thomas) Rish, Kenton; six brothers and sisters, Cheryl (Steve) Evans, Ft. Wayne, IN, Teri Bowen, Celina, Bob (Gigi) Mallory, Brentwood, TN, Bill (Diane) Crider, Warrensburg, MO, Mike Mallory, Phoenix, AZ, and Scott (Nicole) Mallory, Myrtle Beach, SC; a step-brother, John (Nicole) Rish, Kenton; and a step-sister, Emily Rish, Kenton; many nieces and nephews; and many great nieces.  

 

Preceded in death by his son Isaac Mallory.   

 

He was a 1996 graduate of Celina Senior High School.  He worked for RCS Construction in Celina. 

He was a member of New Life Christian Center in Celina, and he was a director of Serving Friends and Families in Celina.

Tom was a man of faith and tradition, he strongly believed if you have family you have everything. He knew no strangers; everyone was family.

 

Visitation hours will be from 2-4 pm and 6 – 8 pm on Tuesday, May 9, 2017, in Cisco Funeral Home, Celina.

 

Funeral services will begin at 10:30 am on Wednesday morning in the New Life Christian Center, 7015 Havemann Rd., Celina, with Pastor Jason King officiating; the family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral at the church. 

 

Burial will follow at Burge Cemetery, Montezuma, OH.
