Dr. Ralph Duane Bradrick, 77, of Rockford, Ohio, went to be with his
Lord Jesus at 4:02 p.m., Friday, May 9, 2008 at Van Wert County
Hospital.
He was born April 19, 1931, in Fredericktown, Ohio to Ralph Wilson and
Ruth Elizabeth (Fawcett) Bradrick. On September 11, 1955 he married
Shirley Marilyn Edwards and she survives.
He was a family physician in Rockford for many years, retiring in 1979.
He continued his medical field at Van Wert County Hospital as an
anesthetist and worked in the ER part time. He was a member of Grace
Missionary Church, Celina, OH, Rockford Eagles #1292, Rockford Medical
Procurement Board, and the Christian Medical Dental Association. He
went on numerous mission trips for the association and included his
family in some of them. He had numerous hobbies, including golfing,
fishing, skiing, and recording all of the family trips with photos.
Surviving in addition to his wife Shirley , is one son, Dale (Cynthia
Ann) Bradrick, Bellevue, Washington, and three daughters, Linda (David)
Shields and Laura Bradrick, Tucson, Arizona and Patricia (Brian)
Thurber, Fort Wayne, Indiana, one brother, Gary (Alberta) Bradrick,
Ontario, OH, six grandchildren, Megan (Peter) Gemelli, Benjamin,
Anastasia, and Robinson Shields, and Kiana and Sierra Thurber, and 1
great grandchild. Deceased are two brothers, Verne and Darryl Bradrick.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 14, 2008 at 10:30 a.m.
at Grace Missionary Church, Celina, with Pastor Michael Spencer
officiating and Pastor Bruce Head assisting. Burial will follow in
Riverside Cemetery, Rockford, OH.
Friends may call at Ketcham-Ripley Funeral Home, Rockford on Tuesday,
May 13, 2008, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. and 1 hour prior to the service at
the church. Memorials may be directed to the Gideons Organization.
