GILLILAND

Doyle R. Gilliland, 78, of 9951 St. Rt. 49, Rockford, OH  45882 (Chattanooga), died Friday, November 16, 2007, at his daughter's home in Decatur, Indiana.

He was born July 19, 1929, in Licking County, the son of the late Clarence and Pearl (Richards) Gilliland. On March 3, 1951, he married Wanda Carr, who survives.

Mr. Gilliland was retired from General Electric in Decatur. He was a member of the Chattanooga United Methodist Church and Free & Accepted Masons Lodge 592 in Ohio City.

Other survivors include four daughters, Cheryl (John) Reynolds, Teresa (Michael) Steinke, Toni (Scott) Lautzenheiser, all  of Chattanooga, and Karla (Steven) Braun of Decatur, Indiana; five grandsons, two step granddaughters, four great-grandchildren, and six step great-grandchildren.

Two sisters are deceased.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 20, at Haggard & Sefton Funeral Home in Decatur, with Reverend Steven Oliver officiating. Burial will be in East Bethel Cemetery near Rockford.

Visitation is from 4-8 p.m. Monday, November 19 at the funeral home.
