SHELLABERGER

Loyell Shellabarger, 84, of Celina, died at 5 a.m. Friday, November 9, 2007, at Colonial Nursing Home in Rockford.

He was born August 2, 1923, in Montgomery County, the son of the late Raymond and Arkana (Crouch) Shellabarger. On June 2, 1951, he married Evelyn Wagner, who survives.

Mr. Shellabarger retired from Goodyear. He was a U.S. Army veteran. He was a member of the Celina Veterans of Foreign Wars, the Celina American Legion and the Mercer County Sportsmen's Club .

Survivors include two sons, Curt (Deb) Celina and Todd (Mary) St. Marys; two brothers, Stan (Louise) of Rockford and Wayne (Martha) of Mendon; two sisters, Frances (Frank) Stoner of Celina, and Vivian Hodge of Celina; and four grandchildren.

A sister, Evelyn Spees and a brother, John, preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Monday, November 12, at Cisco Funeral Home in Celina, with Reverend Richard Van Horn officiating. Burial will be in Swamp College Cemetery.

Visitation is from 2-5 p.m. Sunday, November 11 at the funeral home.
