YOUNG

Emma Charlotte Young, aged 23 months, died Saturday afternoon, October 17, 2015 at her home in Harrison Township.

She was born on November 7, 2013, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, the daughter of Kristopher C. and Michele M. (Yingst) Young who survive.

Other family members include two brothers, Derek and Dylan Young; grandparents, Ronald C. and Carla Young of Van Wert, Kenneth and Pam Yingst of Covington, Ohio, and Mary and David Ditmer of Covington; two great grandmothers, Helen Yingst of Covington and Wanda Favorite of Troy, Ohio; her great great grandmother, Louis Cromes of Troy; aunts and uncles, Phillip (Katlin) Young and their daughter Linley of Markle, IN, William Young of Washington D.C.,  Jennifer Young of Charlotte, N.C., Amy Escue of San Antonio,  Texas, and Casey Yingst of Covington, Ohio.

Services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, October 24, 2015, at Praise Point Church in Willshire with Pastor Brad Kittle officiating. Interment will follow at Ohio City Woodlawn Cemetery. Calling hours are Friday 2 - 8 p.m., at Cowan & Son Funeral Home, Van Wert and one hour prior to services Saturday at the Church.

Preferred memorials are to the Youth Program at Praise Point Church, Gideons International or the Brumback Library.

 

AGLER


Basil L. “Butch” Agler Jr., 62, of Ohio City, died at 3:15 a.m. Saturday, October 17, 2015, at his residence.

He was born January 27, 1953, in Van Wert, the son of Velma Lorene (Hart) Agler, who survives in Van Wert, and Basil Leroy Agler Sr., who preceded him in death. He married the former Glory L. Look, who also survives.

 

Other survivors include two daughters, Holly E. Agler and Mandy L. Agler, both of Auburn, Indiana.

 

A sister, Portia Lucille Ainsworth, also preceded him in death.

 

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, October 21, a Cowan & Son Funeral Home in Van Wert, with Pastor Randy Bevington officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery in Ohio City.

 

Calling hours are from 2-8 p.m. Tuesday, October 20, at the funeral home.
