Alan E. Felver, 81, Rockford, Ohio, died at 7:30 pm, on October 4, 2011 at Celina Manor, Celina, Ohio.

He was born May 9, 1930 in Celina, Ohio; to Basil and Lela (Snyder) Felver (deceased); on December 1, 1951 he married Carolyn J. Agler (deceased).

Other survivors are a son Bruce (Glenna) Felver, Celina, Ohio; three daughters, Diane Felver, Celina, Ohio; Debi Felver, Celina, Ohio; Brenda (Dave) Krugh, Willshire, Ohio; brother, Jack (Jan) Felver, Zanesfield, Ohio; Laurabel (Clifford) Bollenbacher, Marion, Ohio; 9 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Alan was a 1948 Graduate from Rockford High. He was US army Veteran of the Korean War. He was retired from Cron Tire and supply and Fashe Implement John Deere. He was on the Chatt Volunteer Fire Department for 37 years; Fire Chief for 27 years; was a Sunday school teacher.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 4-8 on Friday, October 7, 2011 in the Cisco Funeral Home Celina. Funeral service will be held 10:30 am Saturday October 8, 2011 at the funeral home, with Rev. Robert Ellis officiating. Burial will be at Kessler Cemetery.
