Parkway Boys Baseball Team Ends Season at Division III District Semi-final

The Panthers played Ottawa Glandorf on Thursday, May 22, 2008 at the Elida Ball Field. The teams were well-matched and the Titans worked hard to keep their ground. they won by just 2-1.

Panthers Dedicate Batting Cage to the Late Tyler Dellinger on Tuesday, May 20, 2008
The Parkway Panther Baseball team had senior night and also dedicated the new batting cage in the late Tyler Dellinger's name. A former classmate and baseball player, TD lost his life in a tragic auto accident. 

The boys lost 2-0 to Defiance in this regularly scheduled make-up game.

Panthers Face Ft. Recovery Indians on May 9 at Don Black Field ~ Win Big 15- 5 in 5 Innings
The boys varsity baseball team finished their last home game of the season with a big win over FR. Their season record is 19-3 with a MAC score of 6-2.

 

 
 
 
The Junior Varsity and Varsity Baseball Games with Defiance have been CANCELLED for this evening, Friday, May 9th.
 
 
Tuesday, May 6th - The Panthers traveled south to Versailles to take on the Tigers
Parkway started off with two quick outs, but then settled into garner three runs in the first inning. They were able to add runs in the third, fifth and sixth innings, while only giving up two runs to the Tigers. Ethan Hayes pitched a complete game. Coupled with solid defense from all of the Parkway squad the Panthers move to 18-3 on the year.

Face in the Crowd Winner Picks Out Prize At D & L Classic Woodworking

Randy Shellabarger, Panther Fan from Rockford, was photographed at a recent baseball game, watching his son Chad play. April 30th ~The Panthers record stands at 14-3 after last nights slugfest against the visiting Blue Jays. Parkway pounded out 13 hits to the Blue Jays 4. Drew Luginbill added a grand slam to the hit parade to send the Delphos squad home singing the Blues.

After spotting the Raiders from Russia a three run lead, the Panthers pounded out eight runs for an 8-3 victory in Dayton Saturday, April 26th.

The Panthers lost 4-1 with Jensen Painter having a good night of pitching with just 4 hits and six strike-outs. Parkway is now 10-3 and 1-2 in the MAC.

Parkway takes on Minster in Home Field Action on Tuesday, April 15
Parkway was undefeated with a record of 8-0 as they entered into an MAC competition with the Minster Wildcats on Tuesday night at Don Black Field. The defense made five errors before the 6th inning. It gave Minster the edge it needed. Jensen Painter pitched. The Panthers lost 0-9 and the record stands at 8-1 and 0-1 in the MAC.
