Lady Panthers advance to Regional Finals

The Panthers started off by posting two runs in the first inning and didn't look back. There was a good contingent of Parkway fans to watch the girls take care of business. Once again, solid pitching and some really nice defensive play garnered the lady Panthers another win. They advance to the Regional finals back at Huber Heights on Saturday May,31. Game time is 12:00 o'clock vs. North Lewisburg Triad.

Parkway Girls Softball Team Plays Allen East Winning 11-0 ~ Become District Champs
The Lady Panthers run-ruled the Allen East Mustangs on Thursday evening for the Division IV District Championship Final held in Wapakoneta.

With active bats and strong pitching the ladies defeated the Mustangs 11-0 in six innings. The Panthers next game will be regionals on  Thursday, May 29 - 5:00 p.m. @ Wayne High School in Huber Heights.

The Panthers are 17-6.

2008 Softball Camp Press Release
The Payne Ball Association will be sponsoring a fast pitch softball pitching, hitting and fielding camp in June. The camp will run from Monday, June 9, through Wednesday, June 11, from 9:30 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. each day at the Payne School fields.

The camp will be instructed by nationally and internationally known softball instructor Bob Pelle along with coaches and players from Rowan University in New Jersey . Mr. Pelle has worked with over 400 collegiate players in his career along with several members of the Team USA softball team. Mr. Pelle is currently an assistant coach at Rowan University , which qualified for the NCAA Division III tournament in 2008. The camp will cover pitching, hitting, fielding and all other skills involved in fast pitch softball. The camp is designed for girls aged nine through fifteen.

Parkway Girls Softball Team Plays Versailles Tigers in Hometown Action
on Monday, May 5


Score 4-0 in favor of the Panthers.  Emily Crowell pitched the shut-out with 15 batters struck-out. The team is 11-5 in the standings and 3-2 in the MAC.

Score 1-0 in favor of the Panthers. Hannah Beougher had a double play, taking out two in the 7th inning. Emily Crowell pitched the shut-out. The team is 8-5 in the standings and 2-2 in the MAC.

Parkway High School Girls Varsity Softball Plays Undefeated West Liberty - Salem and Kettering Fairmont Saturday, April 26th.

Thank you Pat Agler for the Action Shots!

In the first game with West Liberty - Salem, Parkway was leading going into the final half inning. West liberty-salem scored in the bottom of the seventh and won 3-2. 

In the second game with Kettering Fairmont Parkway lost by a score of 2-1 in favor of kettering Fairmont. Untimely errors were costly for the lady panthers.

 
 

Parkway Girls Softball Play Mississinawa Valley in Hometown Action on Wednesday, April 16
Score 24-1 in favor of the Panthers with Hannah Beougher as top hitter and Sara King pitching. The team is 5-1 in the standings.
