Wilson and Patterson Nuptials Exchanged in Richmond, Virginia
Jessica Wilson and Rob Patterson were united in marriage on October 9, 2011 at The Virginia Cliffe Inn, Richmond, Virginia.

The bride is the daughter of David and Lina Wilson, Mendon, Ohio. The groom is the son of Bob and Marie Patterson, Lutz, Florida. 

The Reverend Tim Cole officiated the afternoon ceremony. Music was provided by The Vitamin String Quartet and Greg Watlington, brother-in-law of the bride. 
 

The bride, escorted down the isle by her father wore a strapless ivory satin ballgown adorned with a crossover bodice and swarovski crystals as she wore an elbow length veil. She carried a bouquet of jewel-toned roses, lilies, and winter berries trimmed in eucalyptus leaves and hand-tied with an ivory satin ribbon. 
 

Jacquie (Wilson) Watlington, sister of the bride, Knoxville, Tennessee, served as matron of honor. She wore a strapless, floor length, brown dress with a chiffon overlay and crossover bodice with a banned waist. She carried a fall bouquet of jewel-toned roses and berries, trimmed in autumn greens and hand-tied with an ivory satin ribbon. 
 

Evelyn Watlington, niece of the bride, Knoxville, Tennessee was the flower girl. 

Jason Patterson, brother of the groom, Cleveland, Ohio, served as best man. William Watlington, nephew of the bride, Knoxville, Tennessee was ring bearer. 

A waterfront, garden reception followed the ceremony at The Virginia Cliffe Inn. 

Following a honeymoon to Maui and The Big Island of Hawaii, the couple resides at 2619 Caitlin Court, Richmond, Virgina  23233.

Scare-Herold Announce Engagement
Phil and Teresa Scare of Pleasant Mills, Indiana finally get to announce the engagement of their daughter, Trisha DeAnne, to George Herold, son of Raymond and Carolyn Herold of Elida, Ohio. Trisha, a graduate of Parkway High School, University of Northwestern Ohio and still completing a degree at Golden Gate University is an insurance broker at Wells Fargo Insurance Services in Fort Wayne, Indiana. George graduated from Elida High School and University of Northwestern Ohio and is self-employed. A May 2012 wedding is planned.

Todd and Karla Baltzell of Rockford are pleased to announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Tiffany, to Ryan Kennedy, son of Tim and Sandra Kennedy of Mendon.

The bride-elect is a 2007 graduate of Parkway High School and a 2008 graduate of Apollo Career Center. She is employed by Van Wert County Hospital as a ceritfied surgical technologist. The prospective groom is a 2004 graduate of Parkway High School and a 2008 graduate of Sinclair Community college. He is employed by Grandview Hospital in Dayton as a radiologic technologist.

The Couple will exchange vows on September 3, 2011 at New Horizons Community Church in Rockford.

David and Tonya Fenstermaker of rural Rockford are pleased to announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Lynsey Fenstermaker, to Anthony Mazzone, son of Lisa Sparaco and Nick and Christie Mazzone of Dayton.

The bride-elect is a graduate of Parkway High School, Rockford, and Sinclair College with a degree in Hospitality Management. She is currently employed at Claire’s Boutique at the Cincinnati Premier Outlet as a store manager. 

The prospective groom is a Fairmont High School and Sinclair College graduate. He is currently employed in Shipping with the United States Parcel Service. 

The couple will exchange wedding vows in the Parkview Church of Nazarene in Dayton at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 27^th in a ceremony being officiated by Rev.Dr. Eric Rieson (bride’s uncle) of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

The couple plans to honeymoon in Burmuda. 

An open house couple’s shower will be held at the Fenstermaker residence, 1207 Manley Road, Rockford, on Sunday, August 7^th, at 3 p.m. Friends are welcome to stop by to congratulate Lynsey and Tony.  

McConahay and Crass Nuptials Exchanged
Shea Lyn McConahay and Nathan William Crass were united in holy matrimony on July 2, 2011 at the  First United Methodist Church, Van Wert, OH. Parents of the couple are Kelly & Mickey McConahay, Ohio City, OH and Steve & Darla Crass, Peninsula, OH. Grandparents of the bride are Mrs. Barbara Steptoe of Ohio City; Mrs. Shirley Couts; Mr. & Mrs. Dan McConahay; and Mrs. Audrey Speakman, all of Van Wert, OH .

The ceremony was officiated by Mike Marette, a friend of the groom. The music was by pianist Doug Speakman, great uncle of the bride along with a duet done by Steve & Austin Crass (father & brother of groom respectively), accompanied by Nathan Hearns, brother-in-law of the groom. The altar was decorated with vases of yellow and white carnations.

The bride’s dress was fashioned from diamond white silk into a fit & flare gown with an A-line silhouette. The strapless sweetheart neckline had diagonal ruching on the bodice ending at a scalloped lace band adorned with crystals, rhinestones and metallic beads. A row of self-fabric buttons covered the back zipper. The bride wore dangling rhinestone earrings and bracelet, along with golden yellow shoes. Her veil was aingle tier finger-tip length veil and she carried a handheld bouquet consisting of yellow garden roses, white majolica spray roses, white lisianthus, yellow freesia, billy balls, and solidago wrapped in pewter satin ribbon.

Shea Lyn chose Ms. Katie Lautzenheiser, her friend from Pembroke Pines, FL, as maid of honor. She wore an Adrianna Papell Cocktail length print overlay dress with a sheer floral-print overlay in multi-colors of pale blue, gray, & golden yellow. It had a ruched, surplice bodice, inset waistline and a full, pleated skirt. Accessories included golden yellow glass earrings and bracelet which were gifts from the bride along with matching golden yellow shoes. Her bouquet had pale yellow roses, yellow spray roses, green berries and yellow button mums, wrapped in pewter ribbon.

Bridesmaids included: Mrs. Leah Schaffner of Columbus, OH; Ms. Sarah Plas of Van Wert, OH; and Ms. Renee Solomon of Columbus, OH – all friends of the bride, along with Mrs. Morgan Hearns of Huntersville, N.C., sister of the groom. All were dressed identical to the Maid of Honor.

The groom chose a  two button charcoal grey tailored wool suit with a yellow and blue striped tie and a boutonniere of a pale yellow rose, yellow button mums, and Italian ruscus.

Andrew Stocker, from Pittsburgh, cousin of the groom  served as the best man, and fellow groomsmen were dressed in the same suit as the groom, with coordinating ties.  Best man & groomsmen boutonnieres were made of yellow button mums and Italian ruscus. Groomsmen included: Austin Crass, Columbus, OH, brother of the groom; Simon Crass, Charleston, S.C., brother of the groom; Martin McConahay, Austin, TX, brother of the bride, Nathan Hearns, Huntersville, N.C., brother-in-law of the groom.

Ms. Reagan Hearns, niece of the groom, was the flower girl and wore a golden yellow sundress with white leather sandels and carried a basket of various shades of yellow rose petals which she sprinkled along the aisle.

Guest book attendees included: Mrs. Kerry Gudakunst, Grover Hill, OH, aunt of the bride; Ms. Valerie Phillips, Austin, TX, friend of the bride. Gabrielle & Gracie Gudakunst, Grover Hill, OH, nieces of the bride, distributed programs for the ceremony.

The wedding reception was held at the  Willow Bend Country Club, Van Wert, OH with Dr. Dennis & Cheryl Miller, Van Wert, OH, uncle and aunt of the bride serving as host & hostess of the reception:

The bride recently graduated with a  Master of Arts in School Counseling from The Ohio State University in June 2011. The groom graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Consumer and Financial Education in June 2010 from The Ohio State University. He is employed at Vanguard in Charlotte, N.C. as an Investment Specialist

The couple honeymooned in Mexico and will reside in Fort Mill, S.C.

Dana and Vicki Smith of Willshire, OH are happy to announce the engagement of their daughter, Bonnie Nicole Smith, to Cory Allen Wells.  Cory is the son of the late Stacy Wells, Garrett, IN and Suzi & Marty Raugh of Ft. Wayne, IN.

Bonnie is a 2001 graduate of Parkway High School and a 2006 graduate of Indiana-Purdue University where she received her Associate’s Degree in Nursing and a 2011 graduate of Wright State University with her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing. Bonnie is currently employed at the Van Wert County Hospital as an emergency room nurse.

Cory is a 2000 graduate of Garrett High School and a 2009 graduate of Ivy Tech Community College with an Associate’s Degree in Culinary Arts. He plans to graduate in the Spring of 2012 from Indiana-Purdue with a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Administration.  He is currently employed as an executive chief at Shorty’s Steakhouse in Garrett, IN.

A May 21, 2011, wedding is planned in Willshire at the Praise Point Church.

Doug  and Cinda Pontsler, Monclova, Ohio, are proud to announce the upcoming marriage of their son Ryan Pontsler to Sarah Voveris, daughter of Francis and Anita Voveris, Maumee, Ohio.  Ryan is the grandson of Jerome and Ruth Bollenbacher, Rockford, OH and Vernon and Shirley Pontsler, Van Wert, OH.   

Ryan and Sarah are both 2006 graduates of Anthony Wayne High School, Whitehouse, OH. Ryan is a June 2010 graduate of the University of Cincinnati, Cincinnati, OH with a degree in Finance.  He is presently employed by Journeymen, LLC, Cincinnati, OH.  Sarah is a May 2010 graduate of Xavier University , Cincinnati, OH.  She is pursuing her Master’s Degree from Xavier University in Occupational Therapy.   

Ryan and Sarah will exchange vows on December 18, 2010, at St. Patrick’s Church, Grand Rapids, OH.   

Sarah Rolsten and Brandon Worden are pleased to announce their engagement and upcoming wedding.

The bride-to-be is a 2003 graduate of Crestview High School and earned a nursing degree at the University of Toledo. She is employed at Pickerington Nursing and Rehab Center as RN supervisor. 

The prospective groom is a 2002 graduate of Parkway High School and earned a degree in professional golf management at The Ohio State University. He is employed at The Links of Groveport Golf Course as the assistant golf professional.

The couple will exchange vows on Saturday, October 16, 2010, at Trinity United Methodist Church in Van Wert.

Bienz and Hiser Families Plan Wedding

John and Teresa Bienz, of Mendon, announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Jennifer Bienz, to Kyle Hiser, son of Keith and Sharon Hiser, Winchester, Indiana.

The bride-elect is a 2003 graduate of Parkway High School, Rockford, and a 2009 graduate of James Rhodes State College. She is a licensed practical nurse.

The prospective groom is a 2002 graduate of Fort Recovery High School and is a dispatcher/load coordinator for Cheeseman Trucking Co., Fort Recovery.

The couple is planning an October 2, 2010, wedding at 2:30 p.m. at the amphitheatre at Ambassador Park in Fort Recovery.

Miller and Piper Families Plan Wedding

Tom and Marcia Miller, Mendon, announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Whitney Nicole Miller, to Owen Bart Piper, son of Jim and Carol Piper, Celina.

The bride-elect is a 2007 graduate of Parkway High School, Rockford, and a 2008 graduate of Apollo Career Center, Lima, with certification in phlebotomy. She is employed as a teacher at Kids Kastle Daycare & Learning Center, Celina.

The prospective groom is a 1999 graduate of Celina High School and is employed with UPS and Celina Tent, both of Celina.

The couple is planning an October 23, 2010, wedding at the Mendon United Methodist Church, Mendon.

David and Pam Smith of Rockford, announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Elizabeth Kay Smith, to Nicholas Perry Hayes, son of Pete and Twyla Hayes, Rockford. 

The bride-elect is a graduate of 2006 graduate of Parkway High School and 2010 Graduate of The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. 

The prospective groom is a 2003 graduate of Parkway High School and 2007 Graduate of The Ohio State University majoring in Turfgrass Science. He is currently employed as the Grounds Supervisor at Central Mutual Insurance in Van Wert.

The couple will exchange vows July 24, 2010 at Praise Point Church, Willshire.

She is a 2008 graduate of Parkway High School and a 2010 graduate of Vantage Career Center with licenses in Medical Assistant, Phlebotomy, & EKG.

The prospective groom is the son of Joe Houser and Princess Adams. He is a 2006 graduate of Parkway High School. He is currently employed by Auglaize Erie Machine in New Bremen. The couple are planning a July 3, 2010 wedding in Rockford.
